We’re Alison Goodwin and Steve Fowles, co-founders of The Online Business Association and we’re so excited to welcome you to our next business retreat.
We’ve been running our retreats for over five years and have met and worked with some incredible business owners and corporate clients throughout this time.
Our retreats are always designed around you and your fellow guests with bespoke workshops and sessions that will ensure that you’ll walk away with new strategies, ideas and perspectives on how to grow your business.
You’ll join us for 3-days at a stunning 4-star accommodation in the heart of the Peak District. During this time you’ll become immersed in a world of networking and business development, delivered by key members of our team of 15 incredible business experts.
As part of our retreats you’ll join our collective and discover ways to grow your business, create a plan worth following and proactively take steps forward to achieve your goals.
But let’s not forget, this is a retreat, and alongside all of the amazing business strategy and learning, we want you to have fun and truly enjoy yourselves.
That’s why in addition to daily workshops, discussion groups and team building activities, we also put on some incredible entertainment which in the past has involved activities such as:
- A live escape room
- Bartending workshops
- Flair bartending classes
- Team cook offs
- Pub meal and quizzes.
Oh and did we mention the private chef to create all of your meals?!

Our Venue
Welcome to The Peaks
Our venue is a luxury country retreat in a beautiful & peaceful rural hamlet in the Peak District.
All the boutique styled bedrooms each have private bathroom facilities which have been individually decorated and carefully styled. Each bedroom boasts stunning wallpapers, plump cushions and luxurious bedding.
The main communal dining room is located in The Barn with high beamed ceilings, warm lighting and oak floors throughout.
There is an abundance of open plan space in The Barn for gatherings, yet oodles of cosy corners tucked away for the quieter moments throughout the venue. On the first floor in the eaves of The Annexe, you can enjoy the fabulous games room. The games room is furnished with a pool table and a few more facilities to keep you entertained.

The retreat
Take part in workshops bespoke to the areas of your business you’re looking to improve. You’ll also have the chance to take part in ‘fire-side’ discussions hosted by our business experts, panel discussions, team-building activities, and plenty of networking opportunities.

Whenever you work with us, whether it’s joining up on our business retreats, our business strategy days or on a 1:1 basis, everything we do together is confidential and covered by NDAs, so you can be assured that your business is protected.
We won’t host, attend, or support events that aren’t inclusive – in fact we’ve turned down £1 million in revenue over the past 18 months alone because the projects and people were not aligned to our values.
We won’t tolerate clients who behave disrespectfully towards our team or each other. When you join us on our business retreats you can relax knowing that you’re in a safe, collaborative environment without fear of judgement.

ABOUT
Frequently Asked Questions
We believe that you are deserving of spending 3 days focused completely on you and your business. Because of this, only participating attendees are allowed on the property during our event.
Just let us know in advance when registering and our private chef will make sure to accomodate your dietary requirements.
Because of the nature of the venues we work with you may wish to go out walking in your free time so please pack comfortable attire. Whilst in the sessions you are free to wear whatever you are comfortable in so casual attire or whatever fits your personality best for our sessions during the day. You may want something to wear on an evening if you fancy venturing out.
We’re excited about all the face to face time you’re going to have with new friends, and we encourage you to unplug as much as possible, but it is a great idea to bring your laptop for our implementation sessions.
Bring a friend and you can room together! Just be sure and include each other’s names on your registration and we’ll match you up. Coming alone? We’ll match a roommate for you and let you know a few weeks out who they are in advance. There are single occupancy rooms available at an additional cost.
